Recently, it got a 2nd round of seed funding by venture capital firms like Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), CrunchFund, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), & other individual investors. As per publicly available sources, the total funding till date is in excess of $9 million, excluding the first seed funding by Y Combinator and other Angels.
The Swiftype algorithm, say the guys who run this startup, is “quite efficient” for mobile based sites as well. The software is used by over 100k companies/websites.
