Bangalore website allows you to buy almost anything with a ‘Made In India’ tag using Bitcoin

Bitcoin, the well-known Online currency that touched an exchange rate of almost US $1100 recently, has made an entry into India. An ecommerce site called MadOverCoins now promises to deliver Indian goods – from packaged water to even a Royal Enfield mobike – almost anywhere globally, if you pay in Bitcoin.

MOC has described itself on the website as “a global Bitcoin platform to buy selected unique products and world famous food & beverage from India delivered to your doorstep.”

Here’s a glimpse of what’s available: Made in India biscuits (B0.0010-0.0040, chocolates (B0.0030), ready to eat food items (B0.0020-0.0040), sweets (B0.0020-0.0040) & even a second hand Royal Enfield (B3.00) exclusively in return for Bitcoins.

The website is the brainchild of Vikram Nikkam, who is also part of Unobit Solutions aiming to promote the use of Bitcoin in India.

Starting MadOverCoins, the team says, was to give the opportunity to everyone to trade with their bitcoins Online “in the quickest & a hassle free manner wherever in the globe you may be.” These guys claim all the food & beverages on sale on the website have been carefully handpicked after months of market research according to quality & popularity. And if anyone has any more suggestions on what else can be sold from MOC, write in to them.
