Social media company Twitter has launched a new feature called ‘Related headlines’, which showcases the headlines associated with a particular “noteworthy” tweet.

A post on its official blog said, “…the new headlines section on the permalink page of Tweets that have been embedded on websites. It lists and links to websites where the Tweet was embedded, making it easier to discover stories that provide more context.”

Initially, there was immense confusion among users, as many thought they needed to embedd the said Tweet on their own websites, triggering off angry protests. But Twitter assured that the feature would only be on Twitter.com
