This startup helps Google “forget” you (for now, only for Europeans)

forgetmeThis startup has come about following a recent ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), which gave an individual residing in Europe the Internet right to be forgotten, & ask search engine Google to de-index a web page that pertains to them. Forget.me claims to be the “best possible” solution for such a de-indexing request.

This new startup says it helps any European citizen easily find all your irrelevant, outdated, or otherwise inappropriate information that is publicly available on Google search results. Forget.me allows you to place requests for the removal of data that you find irrelevant when you conduct searches about yourself on Google, but all the requests are directed to the latter who will ultimately decide on your request.

Forget.me helps you to justify your removal request to Google thanks to our predefined standard texts written by experts in order to increase your chance of success. It also helps users track their links & their removal by Google.

Google has indicated that the criteria required to take advantage of the right to be forgotten are inadequacy, obsolescence, or excessive web page content.

Forget.me was launched by Reputation VIP (www.reputationvip.com), a European leader in Online reputation management for both brands and people. For now, using this new startup is free.
