SocialTagg makes use of QR codes, & the process of creating & sharing contact details is quite easy. Users of the SocialTagg app can create a unique badge which can then be presented to other SocialTagg users. It’s very simple – tap to enlarge, press & hold to share. You can share the badge with others even if they are not using the app. You can upload a photo & add a short bio to personalize your SocialTagg profile.
You can likewise add new contacts & import their profiles to your phone. You can then call or send a message to reach any of the stored contacts with a single click. You can also export the whole list of contacts to your email.

For event organizers, the SocialTagg event platform on web & mobile makes things a whole lot easier. Attendees can be quickly checked-in, or even asked to self check-in. It also allows for greater engagement with all the event attendees, since you can be in touch with them in a non-intrusive way & get valuable feedback about events using mobile surveys.

The Los Angeles, CA-based SocialTagg, LLC was founded in July 2012. The company’s co-founders include John Baumbach, Tim Feng, Jeffrey Mock, Jade Shyu & Karim Varela. The company was founded with around $1,300, but they are now looking to raise some serious capital.
