Image-centric social network Pinterest has just rolled out a traditional messaging service.

Announcing this on its official blog, the network said the new service will help its users to send, save & discuss Pins with one another. Users can also send Pins & messages to multiple people. Eg: If you have organized a camping trip with friends—try sending Pins to the whole gang so you can figure out where to go and what meals to make. If you need a reminder of who’s bringing what, just pull up the conversation right from your notifications.
