Mailcloud: an email app that promises to keep your emails organized

Mailcloud is a brand new email app that promises to keep your emails & email files securely organized & easy to find.

Tags, folders & search functions notwithstanding, it’s a fact that email accounts turn into vast black holes over time. They swallow all the data throw in, & then you don’t even know where to begin if you want to find a specific email.

Think of Mailcloud as folders created by topic & contact, with all the associated file attachments & emails to which the files are attached stored in the same place. This new email client will also store your files by email account. Now you can connect all your email accounts to Mailcloud. You can plug in everything from Gmail & Yahoo to exchange, AOL, iCloud & your corporate email.

Developed by Zaggora.com founder Malcolm Bell, Mailclould also makes project management easier. Managers can monitor what’s going on with a particular project simply by looking at the real-time feed.

All the files, links & emails associated with that project can be seen in one place, & will provide the latest updates from everyone without having to contact team members individually or as a group to find out what they’ve been doing.

Founded in November 2013, this London-based startup was developed by Bell who had been mulling over developing an email app to manage files & emails since his days as a student at the London School of Economics.

Mailcloud is currently in beta, & you can apply for an invite here. They’re working on separate Mailcloud apps for the desktop, as well as for both iOS & Android phone uses. The apps, including all the features, will be free to download & use.
