MailBird to launch the much-awaited IMAP support

We at What’s New On The Net have witnessed on these very pages the birth of email App MailBird. Developed by a team based in Bali, MailBird launched its public Beta version in April 2013. This slick email alternative is aimed at Windows users.

From tomorrow, i.e Oct 22, this email client is all set to open its doors to millions of users around the world. A spokesperson of MailBird said 1000s of Mailbird’s users have been waiting patiently for months to be able to use Mailbird with their own email accounts, besides the already-supported Gmail & Google Apps.

MailBirdWith the addition of the IMAP support, Mailbird’s email users on Windows are set to  experience a faster, & “more beautiful Inbox”, the spokesperson claimed.

So, what the new IMAP functionality mean for Mailbird’s users?

•    First & foremost, it means that users will save at least an hour or more every week that they usually spend in their Inboxes.
•  It means users will get to experience some upcoming features like Wingman, Frequent Flyer, and the productivity boosting Bird House apps (including full Evernote integration, improved calendars, email list management apps and more).
•    It means users get to use Mailbird for Free, forever. Mailbird Lite is forever free, and forever being improved. You’ll save hundreds of hours of your life when you use it.
