FaceCrypt app offers Fort Knox-type digital data security

By Anand. R

Jarcom Ltd has released version 2 of FaceCrypt, an iOS app which takes personal password & data vault security to extreme heights with security features such as facial recognition & “blowfish encryption.”

The FaceCrypt app is like a virtual bank vault with safety deposit boxes in which you can place your digital valuables such as a private photo collection or proprietary data that you need to keep private & safeguard from theft or loss.

The unique live-person Face Lock facial recognition feature ensures that you are the only one who can access your data vault. This biometric security, coupled with pattern & password protection & the high degree of encryption used, make your iPhone data safer than if it were in Fort Knox.

In fact, FaceCrypt founder & CEO Jeremy Rose actually maintains that “FaceCrypt offers Fort Knox-type protection for passwords, photos & documents.”  Jeremy notes that losing mobile device data would be devastating for most users, & says their goal is to provide real security for smartphone users.

It’s also highly customizable & versatile in how you can use the app. You can create, edit & store everything from documents to code, images, videos & files securely within the data vault.

The data fields are completely customizable, & you can add, delete or rename fields, & generate & apply custom icons. You get to choose what you see in the data vault boxes & how you see it. You can add your cards & bank details & keep all of it secure in the vault, with no one able to access it except yourself.

FaceCrypt comes in 3 versions – free, basic & a Plus version.  Even if you download the free version, the individual vault boxes will be locked & you can purchase one for $0.99. The basic version is priced at $4.99, & the Plus at $6.99.
