Digg cofounder Kevin Rose launches image sharing app called Tiiny

What’s New On The Net had reported a few weeks ago that Digg cofounder Kevin Rose was toying with the idea of launcing a new app called Tiiny. Well, today’s that day. The new app has debuted on iOS today.

This new iOS app is the 1st ouf of Kevin’s new startup incubator, North Technologies. So what is Tiiny all about?

Basically, it is a photo sharing app that allows users to share tiny photos/short video clips that instantly appear in a stream of photos taken by you and your friends. But unlike other similar apps, on Tiiny, these photos disappear after 24 hours. Oh, yeah, & 1 more thing – all photos & posts remain tiny, they cannot be enlarged.

The app uses the iPhone’s front-facing camera by default, which could mean some sort of gentle encouragement to users of the app to click selfies. It has 3 screens: a stream of photos, the profile page, & a list of the most popular photos and videos shared on Tiiny.

Well, that’s that, there’s not much else to this new iOS app.

You may click here to download Tiiny on your iOS device.
