ChatWing adds new features

Chatwing has released several new features and updates recently. The most popular has been the new Chatroom Style Theme. Everyone can now see all the users that are logged in and also slide the roster area to see the login method they are using and hover over the users name to see their profile image. Admins can easily switch from the chatbox theme to the chatroom theme from the dashboard.

 

The Text Editor is very new and allows you to add color and style to each message, some people are experiencing some issues with this and we are currently fixing any of the small issues that still remain. Admins also can disable any or all of these features, some people have requested we edit the interface for this and we will be releasing an updated version soon.

 

Users now have the ability to upload images into the chat itself. This feature is turned off by default and admins must enable this for the icon to be visible in the text editor.

As far as networks, please contact us with some feedback and any issues or suggestions you have as we will be releasing a more structured network dynamic that should benefit the sites who are joining the correct network based on language. Currently some sites are joining the wrong language network which is causing their users to chat in a different language than the network itself. We are working on addressing this situation and if you have a suggestion for a new network we can launch it for you.
