Integrate an e-commerce platform into your existing app within minutes

mochichatThis season’s Online flavor is undoubtedly e-commerce. Almost everyone’s seems to be trying his/her own hand at selling products, services or goods Online. And so, logically, there should spring up companies offering e-commerce solutions.

MochiCart is the latest on the scene to offer such a solution. This new app allows users create a mobile store to display & sell physical goods, all in a jiffy. Apparently, as claimed by mochiCart fellas, it’s quite easy to integrate your mochiCart store with any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch app. There’s an Android version being developed, too. There’s one caveat though – Apple does not allow digital goods to be sold using mochiCart so for now, only physical goods can be sold using this new mobile app. Incidentally, mochi is a famous Japanese snack.

This new mobile app is free to use & can process orders from anywhere in the world. mochiCart easily integrates into any existing or new apps with less than 3 lines of code. Once integrated, users can manage every aspet of the shopping cart from mochiCart’s web administration portal. No need to re-upload your app to update your store.

MochiCart admin also provides valuable statistical & analytics information for each of your mochiCart stores within your apps. The platform leverages industry standard security practices. Plus, mochiCart is built on top of the PayPal API “due to their proven platform for processing payments & keeping customer information secure.”

Whistle Camera – a photo app that takes your selfie when you whistle

whistleappWhistle Camera is a new Android photo app that takes your selfie whenever it detects a whistle. That’s right, you just use download the app, face your front or rear camera & whistle to make it take a selfie for you.

You don’t need to press any buttons or change settings or do anything. It has auto focus & takes high quality pictures in both landscape & portrait. You can hold your phone with one hand, making it easy to get the perfect position & angle for taking a selfie.

You can even do it hands-free while driving, if you leave your phone mounted on the car dashboard or windshield. Fire up the app & whistle to take a hands-free selfie.

If you can’t use the touch screen, you can use the volume up button to take pictures more easily.

One of the first thoughts that might occur to you would be how you can smile or show any other expression if you’re whistling?

Well, that’s easy because the app has a countdown timer. You can pre-adjust the app’s settings, including the countdown timer & the folder where the pictures get saved.

While you’re at it, you might also set the whistle detection level higher if your lungs aren’t as powerful as a concierge calling a cab. By default, it’s set at 3. But if you can’t whistle at all, then set the sensitivity all the way up to “1” & make weird noises blowing air in & out like you’re trying to whistle. The app will accept even that & take your selfie.

The Whistle Camera app was developed by application & game development company DreamBit, which is located in Israel & was founded in 2013 by Itay G, along with his two friends Aviram & Lior.
