Tether your phone to your PC with this app called AirDroid

Here’s an app that duplicates almost everything on your smartphone screen on to your desktop, wirelessly. That’s why it’s been one of the most popular app in Google store since its launch a few years ago.

After you download the AirDroid app, open it & create an account. When you 1st sign in the app, you will be asked if you want to turn on AirDroid’s ‘Find Phone’ feature. Once you do that, you are set.

new appHere are the many things you can do with AirDroid: If you want to send SMS using this app, all you need to do is go to web.airdroid.com, sign in & click on messages. You can compose a new message by clicking on the ‘New Message’ tab. Key in your Contact’s name & you can start chatting. This new app also allows group chats. Sending SMS from your computer seems far convenient than from your mobile phone because of the convenience of the large screen.

You can easily see & manage all of your applications on your mobile device by clicking on the Apps icon. If you’re looking to delete an app that’s taking up too much space, simply tap the delete icon & it will uninstalled immediately.

Among the other things you can do with this app is find your mobile device if you have forgotten where you have kept it. You can even click on the call logs & on your PC, see all incoming, outgoing & missed phone calls.

AirDriod is a product by Sand Studio, a product team from Tongbu Networks. The idea 1st came to mind when the team at Tongbu got tired of looking for USB cables & installing drivers. Since the first release on Google Play in November 2011, AirDroid has gained more than 20 million downloads.

Handle works with your Gmail accounts, & is easy to set up using your Chrome or Safari browser. A companion iPhone app is also available.

Of the many email management services out there, Handle is touted to be among the very simple though powerful Web app that lets you manage all your Inboxes, to-do lists, & reminders, all from 1 dashboard, helping you process your email more efficiently, highlighting your priorities instantly, & focusing your effort on the right tasks at the right time.

The basic idea is to triage your emails quickly & efficiently by creating a task management list. In each email, you can decide whether to flag, delete, create into a project, or archive. If you decide to flag to respond later, you choose whether to flag as “must do”, “should do” or “want to do”. Every action can be done by simply pressing just 1 key.
