The Kiwi Motion Library lets you augment your mobile applications

TORONTO, Ontario, May 6, 2014: A local Toronto startup is once again developing tools to enable sensor based applications in under 15 minutes.

Kiwi launched their iOS motion library that detects a backtap, a wave and a knock that developers can use to augment their mobile applications. The library has been in private use by several application development partners, and Kiwi are excited to share an alpha version with the entire developer community.

kiwilogoAn alpha version of the library was launched on www.kiwimotion.io on Monday May 5th at 9 am EST, and received positive feedback from developers.

“We are solving complex problems for developers, and this library is another step in our mission to enable sensor based apps in under 15 minutes” says Ali Nawab from Kiwi.

There over a million applications in the Apple AppStore alone, and app developers are constantly looking for new ways to enable interaction with their app. Some examples of the library in use are a selfie app, a happiness counter and games.

“We have launched an alpha version to work with our developer community to improve our tools, and will also be launching Android and Node versions in the coming days” says John D. Chibuk from Kiwi.

Kiwi is currently working on an open developer technology stack that will be used to deliver cutting edge sensor applications, to support their developer kits, scheduled for shipment in July 2014.
