Google launches a marketing education app called Primer for startups

new marketing lessons app

How about lessons in marketing from Google? That’s right. Googe, Inc. has launched a mobile app called Primer, surprisingly on iOS & not Android (that is been developed), claimed to be a “no-nonsense, jargon-free” designed specifically for busy startups.

The marketing lessons take 5 minutes or less, & are based on real world experiences. With case studies, insider tips & interactive quizzes, this new marketing lessons app teaches users how to promote their businesses, get more customers & avoid some common marketing mistakes.

It is a fact that most startups do not keep away enough time or resources for marketing, & this is the pain point the Primer app tries to resolve. It claims to help startups learn marketing fast; whenever & wherever the startup members have 5 minutes free. Primer’s case studies & interactive quizzes teach big picture strategies that take the “frustration out of marketing.”

On the Primer Website, Google has explained its reasons for having developed this new marketing lessons app. It wants Primer to be an instrument that will make it easier for businesses to be successful at marketing. Google said it had realized that some of the Google ad-tech products that connect businesses to customers also widened the gap between rookies & marketing pros. This is something it wanted it fix, so it developed Primer.

Lessons available on this free app have been developed by marketing experts, & the guys behind Primer have even asked for more such lessons. The other advantage to using this app is that you can read up the lessons even when there’s no Internet connectivity.

Get rid of unwanted newsletters from your Inbox using the Unsubscriber app

Getting newsletters is something that all of us have got used to. But sometimes, we end up requesting emails that turn out to be “unwanted” pieces of word junk, which we would gladly get rid off at a later stage but don’t, either because of lack of time or knowledge.

Now, there’s a Web app called Unsubscribe that does this for you. It works not only with Gmail but also with Yahoo, AOL, Outlook & the iCloud. Once you sign up, it will create an “Unsubscribe” label on the left side of your Inbox. Then, all you need to do is just move unwanted messages to this folder, & the app takes care of the rest. Simple way of simplyfying your Inbox.

What’s more, new emails from that sender are also routed to your Unsubscribe folder. The app then notifies the sender that you want to be removed from their list.

Unsubscriber has been developed by the Texas, US-based OtherInBox, makers of innovative email apps that help sort your electronic mail better & more efficiently.
