Thinkerous – not an ideas but a solutions Site

crowdsourcing site

This startup may straddle both – the virtual & real – worlds but we decided to feature it on our Website, anyway. Positioned as a solutions Site than an Ideas one, Thinkerous is a community platform for sharing ideas that solve impactful issues.

So you have tabs such as Ideas, Hot, New, Issues. Anyone is free to put up just about any topic in them. Eg: Physical companies cannot give customer feedback. Imagine you are a small company, you may provide some kind of service or sell some kind of good. People enter you store, or they call you, they can even contact you through the internet. They ask some quick questions, then they buy your product or service, or they leave without buying.

Then, anyone who has an opinion or an idea on how to resolve the issue can write in. Of course, everyone needs to register & then log in before doing all of that.

Thinkerous goes beyond just being a crowdsourcing solutions platform. It offers what it calls ‘Enterprise Innovation Management & Idea Management Solutions’. Any enterprise can subscribe (for a fee) to this, asking its employees & partners for crowdsource ideas, resources, & experiences. This, it claims, helps the enterprise to discover the solutions to some of the “most impactful issues in your organization.”

Using Thinkerous, enterprises can measure the value of initiatives, quantify return on innovation & even gamify  success.

Some of the features it offers include:

  • 3rd party integrations for Single Sign-On/SAML
  • All communications encrypted for security
  • Automatic, daily backups
  • Compatible with all modern browsers
  • Log on from anywhere, including your phone &Tablet
  • Voting, commenting, features
  • Track progress on each submission
  • Proprietary prioritization algorithms to quantify “impact”
  • User innovation scores
  • Powerful reporting & analytics

Already, some companies like 1Q Labs have signed up for the Thinkerous Enterprise program. You may click here to find out more about this crowdsourcing solutions Site.

Ziptask launches 24X7 video chat service platform

This press release has been published as it is without any editing. This Website has not verified claims, if any, made it in.

Anaheim, California, Oct. 24, 2014, PRNewswire: Ziptask, a provider of information technology focused outsourcing services, today announced that they have pivoted their platform to be video-chat-first, offering an “instant” engagement between the customer and a technology professional who can jumpstart their project. Ziptask, a challenger to the industry leader oDesk/Elance, has created an “instant” experience which is altogether different than anything in the marketplace today.

Ziptask's real-time instant video chat with customers is a first to the IT Outsourcing Industry.

Co-founders Shawn Livermore and Jeff Sherwood, speak to the importance of this recent re-launch. “It’s actually quite simple,” Livermore says, “We needed to give customers what they really wanted, and what they didn’t know that they could have… a ‘Right Now’ Experience”. The instant video chat is indeed a substantial change. Customers can click one button, without signing up, and then see in front of them a person’s face, filling up the browser, as an immersive video chat. This person is a technology expert in the cloud, certified by Ziptask, who is ready to engage on their project. This immediate experience, Livermore claims, “makes all the difference in the world when you’re dealing with customers who want to get started on their project as soon as possible, and aren’t willing to wait a few days or even a few hours.” Ziptask’s managed outsourcing video chat service is launching as a 24/7 available platform today.

Ziptask provides immediate, managed, outsourcing services through freelance professionals on information technology projects. They specialize in website development, graphic design, mobile app development, content, social media, and all types of software development projects. Ziptask completed the TechStars incubator in 2013, has forged a name for themselves in the IT Outsourcing industry, and has seen significant traction over the last 10 months. They have been featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, TheNextWeb, and Pando Daily. Ziptask is raising a round of funding, led by Paige Craig, #14 on the list of top 20 angel investors in the world.
