New WordPress plugin seoslides

New WordPress plugin helps embed PDF file on your Site

This new WordPress plugin could turn out to be beneficial for all those whose sites are built on the WP platform.

It is often seen that website owners use 3rd party platforms to put up slideshows on their sites. That should no longer be the case now. A Florida, USA-based startup called Alorum has brought out a new WordPress plugin called seoslides whose role is to allow site owners to easily embed any type of PDF file they want.

The logic behind this new WordPress plugin is to give the control of their Content back in the hands of site developers. Alorum’s solution allows users to own and control both their Content and leads, all the way through the acquisition funnel.

Seoslides users can create or import any presentation directly onto their own website. The seoslides plugin represents the first fully embeddable, multi-page content on WordPress. Whereas current posts and pages are stand-alone pages, presentations by seoslides will be composed of slides that are each a page, with SEO optimisable notes. Since the Content is owned, users can place ‘live’ links in any slide, add videos, or even reorder their decks on the fly. When published, presentations appear native, regardless of browser or device, including swiping through slides from a mobile phone.

Alorum is also offering a presentation sharing community, http://seoslid.es, to which users can embed directly from their own WordPress site.

There are two versions to seoslides; the free one only allows limited uploads while there is a Pro version, too.

Alorum has raised US $191,500 seed round, including from seed stage fund Gazelle Lab.
