Washington, D.C., USA based technology entrepreneur Louisa Imperiale recently launched Photox, a photo app which she claims is the 1st-ever free, on-demand photo-editing smartphone application.
The basic functionality is that you choose a photo & one or more of over 30 enhancements & submit it through the app. The photo & the required changes are sent to Photox’s team of professional touch-up artists, who will immediately do the required touchups & send you back the enhanced photo within 15 minutes.
There are other services that allow customers to submit & buy their design needs Online, but the USP here is that this photo app entirely removes the need for human interaction with the customer.
Users don’t have to fiddle around with the settings or get creative themselves, so it’s very easy for anyone to use. Just select the photo & choose 1 or more of the 30 options such as teeth whitening, red eye removal, wrinkle eraser, double chins, cellulite removal, bald spot removal, tanned skin or lightened skin, & even weight loss.
“So many of us have priceless photos of once-in-a-lifetime moments that we’re embarrassed to share because we don’t like the way we look. Photox can eliminate these worries,” said Louisa in a press release.
Photox, she pointed out, was the only app that connected the public to touch-up artists with the simple swipe of a finger.

The app is currently available only for the iPhone, but Photox does plan to release versions for Android & for web later this year.
